Knappt hann jag publicera senaste inlägget innan jag fick veta att den tillbakadragna GMO-studien åter publicerats i en ny tidskrift. Studien är i princip oförändrad och de problem som resulterade i att man drog tillbaka studien kvarstår. Den tidskrift som den nu publicerats i är en Environmental Sciences Europe som inte har något vidare gott rykte. Men ändå, det är tydligt att det är något systemfel när en studie som dragits tillbaka på grund av sin dåliga kvalitet plötsligt kan återuppstå från det döda.
Almost immediately after publishing my last post I learned that the retracted GMO study had been republished in a new journal. The study is essentially unchanged and the problems that caused the withdrawal of the study persist. The journal that is now publishing the study is called Environmental Sciences Europe and does hardly have a good reputation. But still, it is clear that there is a system failure when a study retracted due to its poor quality can suddenly resurrected from the dead.
